It grew from an automotive parts business with one small store in Benghazi and was officially established in 2008. Today it employs more than 6,000 people and serves over 2 million customers across Libya, in sectors such as consumer goods, industry, engineering, healthcare and retail.

Tosyali-SULB is the partnership behind the steel complex in Benghazi, one of the world’s largest Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) projects. Ahmed Gadalla is a Chairman of the Tosyali-SULB partnership, and the project is one of several industrial initiatives connected to his vision of enabling Libya’s economic growth through large-scale investments.
