Some Of The Most Important Work Happens Before The Equipment Arrives

The most visible signs of progress are often the delivery of equipment and the completion of buildings, but there is a lot of work that has to be done before a project gets to that stage.
Around the site construction continues to advance but there’s also a lot happening behind the scenes to prepare for equipment installation. The factory cannot take anything in until every detail has been thot thru. Teams need to agree where the equipment will go, how the piping will run, where electrical cables will be routed and how everything will connect once production begins.
Recently, several representatives from Tetra Pak Egypt and SIA Solutions along with Zulfa’s engineers, consultants, contractors and management team visited the project. They visited the site, saw the progress made so far and discussed what remains to be done before the next stage begins. This is the kind of meeting where everyone leaves with the same picture of what happens next.
The discussions covered everything from food-grade piping and drainage, to insulation, electrical cable routes and the best way to bring equipment and storage tanks into the factory. None of these choices are particularly appealing once the building is complete, but they matter a lot down the road. Taking the time to make sure they are correct now will save you delays when installation begins.
Construction projects are built in stages and every stage depends on the one before it. Now the effort is to be sure that everything is ready before the next chapter. This is meticulous work, but it is also some of the most critical work on the project.
